About AileyCamp

AileyCamp is KC Friends of Alvin Ailey’s award-winning, nationally-replicated youth development program for young people ages 11 – 14. The six-week summer day camp introduces students to a variety of dance techniques and increase their leadership and interpersonal skills through personal development and creative communications classes! Community service is a pillar of the AileyCamp experience. Alvin Ailey dreamed of changing at-risk children’s lives through dance and AileyCamp is the result of his vision. Learn more >>
