On November 17, 2017 we celebrated the work of Debbie Allen for the impact she has made for diversity and inclusion. It was a magical evening filled with laughter, friendship, and a true sense of purpose. Highlights included performances by KCFAA, presentation of a state proclamation by Rep. DaRon McGee and a Kansas City proclamation by Mayor Sly James acknowledging Ms. Allen’s contributions, presentation of the custom, artisanal glass award by Congressman Emanuel Cleaver II, and Ms. Allen’s inspirational speech.
