A Message to Our Friends About the Coronavirus Impact

March 17, 2020

Dear Friends,

As we all know, the Coronavirus is impacting every facet of our lives. Because Kansas City Friends of Alvin Ailey (KCFAA) cares deeply about the health and safety of our staff, students, volunteers and community, and respects the guidance from the government and the CDC, we are suspending all Studio and in-school classes at least until April 24.

We are postponing events and programs, including the Ailey II Performances and Gala on May 1-2, 2020. In addition, we are closing our office, effective immediately, until further notice. Please see the list of postponed events below. You may email us at info@kcfaa.org or check our website for updates. We will also email details on rescheduled events as they become available.

Throughout our 36-year history, KCFAA has united our community through dance. As a non-profit, we depend on the generosity of our patrons and supporters to continue delivering programs that have a positive impact on our youth. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation by clicking here to help us continue to transform the lives of more than 25,000 people each year.

We greatly appreciate your continued support during this time and look forward to seeing you all soon!

Stay healthy!

Melanie Miller
