AileyCamp is a five-week summer day camp where students are introduced to dance and come to respect the discipline of dance as a physical activity which requires athletic ability comparable to skills demanded by any sport. Campers also increase their leadership skills and enjoy a variety of athletic and social activities. They learn that dance is challenging, fun, and helps them in other sports and in life!
Come out to support our 2019 AileyCampers and celebrate their achievements at the AileyCamp Missouri Final Performance. Be inspired at the talents and skills our students have acquired and applaud them as they demonstrate their confidence, grace and determination through dance.

Initiated in the Fall of 2006, KCFAA’s Paseo Project brings professional performing/teaching artists to Paseo Academy to work with their dance students and produce works that are featured in Paseo’s annual Kaleidoscope showcase. The Project supports Paseo’s mission and promotes the academic, creative, social and physical development of students within a racially and economically diverse learning environment. Every year, KCFAA’s school programs serve more than 28,000 school-aged children through 11 year-round arts education programs.
This year’s Paseo Project will feature works from KCFAA’s teaching artists Ethel Calhoun, D’Eirre Jackson and Latra Wilson.
